News Nepal Ends AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers with Draw Against Mongolia

In the culminating match of the group stage on Wednesday, Nepal, having already been ousted from the AFC Futsal Asian Cup selection, concluded their campaign with a 1-1 draw against the host nation, Mongolia.

Sumit Shrestha notched the lone goal for Nepal, a noteworthy performance that harkens back to his previous goal against South Korea, despite Nepal's 5-1 loss during the group stage.

Nepal and Mongolia, both contenders in Group D of the qualification tournament, have already been eliminated from further contention in the competition.
