Bhutan national women's football team will arrive in Nepal on Thursday to participate in the women's SAFF football tournament. According to the information given by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the Bhutanese team will land at Tribhuvan International Airport by Druk Airlines plane at 9 AM on Thursday morning.
Bhutan is in Group 'B' alongside Sri Lanka and hosts Nepal.
Seven teams including Nepal are scheduled to compete in the tournament. However, the recent suspension of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has put India's participation into jeopardy. India's participation will depend upon the response of AIFF's recent request to lift the suspension.
The SAFF Women's Championship is going to be held in Kathmandu from September 6 to 19.
