Organizers Sanyukta Youth Club has moved to the quarterfinal of 1st Rupandehi Cup.

In the pre-quarterfinal match played at Belbhariya, Butwal on Saturday, Sanyukta Youth Club thrashed Saubhagya Youth Club 4-1.

Binod KC, Bijay Singh Thakuri, Roshan Ghale and Resham Rana scored apiece for the winning team.

Aashish Rana scored a consolation goal for the losing side.

In another match of the day, Sunaulo Sangam Club trounced Nawayuwa Sports and Cultural Family 6-0 to enter quarterfinal.

Banganga Welfare Society will take on Radha Krishna Touth Club and CounterStar Club will meet DYC today.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,11,111. Runners up team will get Rs 51,151.

16 teams are participating in the championship.
