Gorkhalis Abroad Baltimore Athletic Club to Host 8th NAC Cup From July 4

Baltimore, USA – June 21 – The Baltimore Athletic Club, founded by expatriate Nepalis in the United States, is all set to host the 8th Nepalese American Convention (NAC) Cup football tournament from July 4 to 6.

The NAC Cup has grown into one of the most anticipated football events for the Nepali diaspora in North America, bringing together talented players, clubs, and fans from across the U.S. and beyond. This year’s edition promises intense competition, strong community spirit, and a celebration of Nepali football abroad.

Team registration is currently open for clubs interested in participating. According to the organizers, a registration fee of $1,800 was set for early sign-ups until May 18. Teams registering after May 18 must pay an increased fee of $2,000.

The stakes are high this year, with the champion team set to receive a whopping $18,000 cash prize, along with the tournament title, trophy, and medals. The runner-up will not leave empty-handed either, securing a cash prize of $8,000 in addition to medals and a trophy.

In recognition of individual brilliance, special awards have been arranged for the best players in various categories, including best goalkeeper, best midfielder, best forward, and most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.

The NAC Cup continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting Nepali football culture in the United States, and this year’s tournament is expected to draw record participation and attendance.
