28 Bigha has entered semifinals of 1st Bharatpur 18 gold Cup Football tournament in Chitwan.

In the first quarter-final completed on Thursday, 28 Bigaha FC defeated New Divyajyoti FC 5-4 in a tiebreaker and secured a place in the semi-finals.

The scheduled time of the competitive match was tied at 1-1. Divya Jyoti took the lead in the game. In the 13th minute of the first half, Divya Jyoti took the lead with Ashwin Tamang's goal.

But in the 31st minute of the second half, Bivek Mahato of 28 Bigha scored the equalizing goal. No more goals could be scored in the scheduled time and the match was decided in a tiebreaker. In which 28 Bigha won. Divya Jyotika Ashwin became the man of the catch.

The second quarter-final match will be held on Thursday in the Gold Cup organized by Sports Development Coordination Committee Bharatpur 18 Gunjnagar. Hosts Bharatpur 18 and Abhishek Church Rajahar will meet in the second quarter-final.

The winner of the competition, which will run until Baisakh 26, will receive 222,222 rupees and the runner-up will receive 111,111 rupees. The best player of the tournament, best goalkeeper, midfielder, defender and top scorer will receive five thousand rupees each and the man of the match will receive two thousand rupees. The matches of the tournament will be broadcast live from GoalNepal.
