Nepal, which is participating for the first time, has entered the finals of the ongoing WAFF Women's Championship.
In the second semi-final, which was completed late on Tuesday night, Nepal managed to get closer to the title by defeating Lebanon 2-1.
Lebanon took the early lead in the match at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium. Pooja Rana scored an ow goal in the 38th minute due to a lack of coordination with goalkeeper Anjila.
Trailing 1-0 in the first half, Nepal came back to the game in the second half. In the 76th minute, Sabitra Bhandari took advantage of the opponent's weakness and returned the equalizer.
Similarly, Preeti Rai score the decisive goal during the injury time of the game. Her powerful shot from outside the box turned into a beautiful goal.
Nepal will now play the final for the title against former winner Jordan in the final on Thursday.
