Buttabari United has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing 1st Amar Yuva Cup Knockout Football Tournament in Jhapa.
In the last quarter-final match held on Tuesday at the Ganesh Ma vi grounds located in Buddhshanti 4, Buttabari defeated Shanishare FC, Arjundhara 1-0.
The decisive goal of the match was the first goal scored by Sona Limbu of Buttabari United in 15 minutes.
In the 51st minute of the match, after Shanishre FC's Anis Rai received a red card, Shanishre was reduced to 8 players.
Buttabari's Sona Limbu, who scored the decisive goal in the match, became the man of the match and received 1,000 in cash.
The winner of the competition organized by Amar Yuva Club, Jhapa will receive a cash prize of 50,000 and the runner-up will receive 30,000.
The final match of the tournament, in which a total of 8 teams are participating, will be held on the 19th of Falgun.
