Nepal's midfielder Rohit Chand, who is playing for Persik Kediri FC in the top division of Indonesia, scored the first goal for the club on Thursday.
While registering the second victory in the 18th match of the league, Persik beat Bhayangkara 3-2. In the eighth minute of the game, Rohit scored his debut goal for the club. In the 14th minute, Renan Silva doubled that lead through a penalty.
However, Bhayangkara returned to the game in the first half. In the 30th minute, Titan Fawwazi scored the first goal for Bhayangkara, while Sani Fauzi scored from a penalty in the extra time of the first half to tie the game 2-2.
Riyatno Abiyoso scored the third goal for Persik in the 82nd minute gave the team an exciting and important victory.
Despite this win, Persik, who have been in a bad form this season, are struggling at the bottom with 13 points from 18 games. On the other hand, the defeated Bhayangkara are in 13th place with 19 points. Persik will play their next match against Madura United on Tuesday.
