New Road Team have beaten Sankata Club in a friendly played today in preparations for NRT's Malaysia trip later this week. NRT defeated Sankata 3-2 in a friendly played at thr Dasharath Stadium.

Aashish Suman gave Sankata the lead in the 15th minute of the match. Rajeen Dhimal equalised through a freekick in the dying minutes of the first half.

But Sankata took the lead again in the 47th minute of the match through Moses. Stephane Samir Binong equalised for NRT just ten minutes later.

Dipesh Ghale gave NRT the lead just minutes later and that proved to be enough for the Road Runners.

NRT are going to Penang, Malaysia to participate in the TYT Cup later this week. NRT are scheduled to face Malaysia's Penang FC on 30th June and Indonesia's Karo FC on July 2nd.

The winners of that tournament will receive 10 thousand Malaysian Ringgit while the runners-up will receive 5 thousand Malaysian Ringgit.

NRT are also scheduled to play a few friendlies in Thailand after the TYT Cup.
