APF Football Club have entered the semifinals of the first National Chief Minister's BYC Women's Gold Cup with a big victory. In the third quarterfinal held on Monday, APF secured a place in the last four by defeating Biratnagar Metropolitan City 8-0. APF will now face another departmental team Tribhuvan Army Football Club in the semi-finals.

Sabitra Bhandari scored five goals for APF in the match played at Dhangadhi Stadium. Similarly, Anita Basnet, Sabita Rana Magar and Saru Limbu scored one goal each. Sabitra scored the first goal in the 36th minute of the first half, the second goal in the 51st minute and the third in the 74th minute to complete her hat-trick. Sabitra scored two more goals in the 79th and 90th minutes.

Similarly, Anita Basnet scored in the 62nd minute, Saru Limbu in the 75th minute and Sabita Rana Magar in the 89th minute to ensure a commanding victory for APF.

APF's Sabitra Bhandari, who scored five goals in the match, was declared the player of the match.

The final quarterfinal will be played between hosts Bandevi Youth Club, Kailali and Kalika Sports Academy, Chitwan on Tuesday.

The winner of the tournament organized by Bandevi Youth Club, Kailali will get 5,00,000 rupees including the title and the runners-up will get 2,50,000 rupees.
