Sankhuwasabha United & Nakhipot United have entered quarterfinals of 5th Gorkhali cup in Gorkha.

Sankhuwasabha defeated Kurintar XI 2-1 in a tightly contested match on Thursday.

Barsaat Gurung and Jaangbu Sherpa scored apiece for the winners. Suresh Kumal scored for Kurintar.

In the second match of the day, Nakhipot defeated United youth club 1-0 to enter last eight.

Yogesh Gurung scored the match winner in 57th minute.

Haramtari club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 2 lakh.
