Friends Club have recorded a big win against Brigade Boys Club in the ongoing Martyr's Memorial A Division League today. Friends Club defeated Brigade Boys Club 5-2 to register their first win of the reason and increase their hopes of staying in the A Division League next season.

League debutant Sushil Rai opened the scoring for Friends Club in the 14th minute of the match through a wonderful free-kick from almost 25 yards out. BBC then equalized through a free kick as well. Dady Wamba Jr.'s strike helped BBC come back in the game in the 25th minute.

But just three minutes later, Shyam Baby Kyapchhki gave Friends Club the lead again. Shyam converted a 3v1 situation that looked to be wasted by Friends for a moment A little bit of miscommunication and Shyam looked to be in an offside position. But the goal was given. Friends then took a two-goal lead towards the end of the first half when Manoj Rai scored in his own net while defending a set piece. The first half ended 3-1.

In the second half, BBC came out guns blazing and created a lot of chances to come back in the game. But they couldn't convert their chances. In the 77th minute of the match, Jamoul Anthony Francis found himself free in the box and scored the fourth for Friends Club. And just a minute later, Sushil Shah hit a wonderful volley from the edge of the box to score his second and his team's fifth to pile on the misery for BBC. Anil Gurung pulled one back for BBC through a penalty in the 86th minute but it was too late.

With their first win of the campaign, Friends Club are known out of the relegation zone and climb to 12th on the table with six points from ten matches. Brigade Boys Club drop down to the relegation zone in 12th with six points as well but they have an inferior goal difference to Friends Club.
