SAFF U19 Championship: Nepal Starts The Campaign With A Loss

Nepal, the runners-up of the last edition of the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship, has had a bad start. In the match held in Dhaka on Friday, Nepal got off to a bad start by losing 1-3 to the hosts and former winners Bangladesh.
Nepal will play its next match against Bhutan on Sunday. Similarly, Bangladesh will face India on the same day. Remember, in the opening match on Friday itself, India got off to a great start with a comprehensive 11-0 win over Bhutan.
A total of four teams from South Asia will participate in the tournament on a single round robin basis. After the league stage, the top two teams will enter the finals.
The final match will be held on February 8.
