SAFF Championship 2021: Ali Ashfaq Is Still The Man To Watch

He is in the twilight of his career but his class is permanent.

Ali Ashfaq is the most decorated forward in Maldivian football. Coach Ali Suzain has included him for the upcoming SAFF Championship and he is still the man to watch in the competition.

According to the information shared by SAFF, Ashfaq has scored 20 goals in SAFF champetition followed by Sunil Chhetri (13), Bhaichung Bhutia (12), Ibrahim Fazeel (10) and Ahmed Tariq (10).

There are five teams taking part in the event, which will be played on round robin basis. Top two teams will play the final match on October 16, 2021 in Male.
