Dipawali mela which has been going on since 2039, will be held from 21st to 27th of Kartik this year.

It is said that open men's football competition, open women's football competition, village level men's volleyball and open women's volleyball competition, badminton and chess and other cultural programs will also be conducted in the fair.

The winner of the open men's football tournament will receive a 3-year running trophy with 150,000 rupees, while the runner-up will receive a trophy with 100,000 rupees. Similarly, the winner of the open women's category will receive a three-year running trophy with 80,000 and the runner-up will receive a trophy with 50,000, said Bishnu Prasad Oli, chairman of the fair management committee.
