Jhapa: Sukhani Martyr Memorial Gold Cup Kicks Off

Sukhani martyr's memorial women's gold cup got underway at Arjundhara, Jhapa on Wednesday.

Kankai defeated Ilam DFA 2-0 in the opening match. Kusum Khatiwoda scored the opener in 13th minute and Mamamta Raut doubled the lead in 27th minute.

Khatiwoda became the shero of the match and received Nrs 3,000 cash.

Panchthar DFA will play against Parijat women's team on Thursday.

Sukhani memorial foundation is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,25,000.
