Machhindra club has entered final of 6th Mai Valley gold cup.

Machhindra defeated Manebhanjyang FC Darjeeling 3-0 in first semifinal match played at Ilam Tundikhel on Wednesday.

Rejin Subba scored a brace while Adeleja Somide scored another for the winners.

Subba scored the opener in 19th minute. Somide doubled the lead in 21st minute utilizing a corner kick taken by Rejin Dhimal.

Subba scored his second in 87th minute.

Defender Devendra Tamang became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Nepal Army will play against May Valley FC in second semifinal match.

10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 8 lakh. Runners up team will get Nrs 5 lakh.
