11 girls from Generation Amazing program have returned home after taking part in women's football cultural festival in Berlin, Germany.

Girls from Kaski , Kailali , Makwanpur , Bhaktapur and Kathmandu were involved in the team.

8-day festival comprised of matches, discussion, women empowerment, discussion forums, coaches workshops, girls football camp, music and films.

Manisha Khatri (kailali) said she learned a lot from the program.

"I was very nervous from day 1 but the festival had so much of fun. We made many friends. The festival has motivated me to play more and share this experience with my friends back home", said Khatri.

Another participant from Nepal, Anisha Khicha said she was glad to take part in the festival.

"I had participated in festival19 program held in LYon, France a month ago but I was alone there but this time I had my friends. The festival was great. I wish our country will also give easy access and such platform for girls to play in sports", said Khicha.

Coach Jeevan Sinkemana said it was a wonderful experience for young girls.

"The festival was very good learning experience for our players. I am very proud that despite of a week or so formal training before the festival, girls put on brave display. They played good and all we’re impressed with the energy and passion these girls have in them. Also none of our players were injured in the matches. Eight players from different countries had to walk with crutches due to injury which was very sad", added Sinkemana.
