Siraha: 1st Mayor Cup Kicks Off; Munal FC Enters SFs

Siraha mayor cup got underway in Lahan, Siraha on Thursday.

Munal Club Jhapa defeated central college Bharatpur FC 2-1 in the opening match.

Nepal international and Nepal Army striker Nawayug Shrestha scored one whole Victor scored another for the winners. Rajesh Paudel scored one for BFC.

Shrestha became the man of the match.

Nepal Army has "surprisingly" released players to play from local tournaments in this off season.
