Makwanpur XI clinched title of Bhugarva Cement Martyr's Memorial Makwanpur Gold Cup for the first time as they beat Dauphins Team 2-1 in the final match of Bhugarva cement Martyr's memorial Makwanpur gold cup football tournament at Forestry campus ground, Hetauda on Saturday.

Yogesh Gurung scored both goals for the hosts.

The champions bagged Nrs 8 lakh while runners up team got Nrs 4 lakh.

Congress leader Indra Baniya also announced extra Nrs 1 lakh to the winners.

Makwanpur DFA organized the championship.
