Kathmandu: Women From Budhanilkantha Municipality Play Football To Mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
Women from Budhanilkantha municipality played a friendly match on Saturday to mark 16 days of activism against gender based violence.
Women from ward number 10,11 and 12 took part in the event.
Ward number 11 defeated ward number 10 in sudden death.
16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls.
The campaign runs every year from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day.
