Lalitpur metro has announced monetary support to A division league teams from Lalitpur.

Municipality board meeting held on Sunday passed the decision to provide Rs 4 lakh each to the A division league teams every year.

There are Ruslan TSC, Chyasal youth, Jawalakhel youth club, Brigade Boys Club and Friends club from Lalitpur in A Division league.

Earlier Kathmandu Metro provided Rs 9,30,000 (Rs 5 lakh cash & Rs 4,30,000 worth gears) to teams from Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, Lalitpur mayor Chiribabu Maharjan announced that Ruslan Three Star club would get Rs 4 lakh each for trophy they won in Mofasal tournaments last year.

Stars had won seven trophies last season. They will get Rs Rs 28 lakh more.

Sub Metro spokesperson Raju Manandhar said that the support will be provided after Dashain festival.
