Nawayuwa Sports & Cultural Family has won the title of 18th Lishnu cup in rupandehi district.

Nawayuwa defeated Siyari rural municipality 2-1 in the final match played on Monday.

Jitesh Gurung and Ranjit Ale scored apiece for the winners. Raj Paudel scored for Siyari.

The champions received Rs 3 lakh whereas runners up team walked away with Rs 1,0,000.

Jitesh Gurung became the best player of the tournament. Bishal Sunar got the best goalkeeper award. Sagar Rokka received the rising player and Raj Paudel was declared the highest goal scorer.

ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.

Lishnu club organized the championship.
