Mai Valley FC has completed preparation for Mai Valley gold cup football tournament.

President of the club, Dhiren Chemjong told GoalNepal that they had worked hard to make everything ready for the tournament.

“We are ready to host the event. We would like to welcome everyone at Ilam Tundikhel from tomorrow”, said Chemjong.

“We have invested a lot of money to make the ground green. It was very hard to manage everything. I would like to thank my club members and supporters for making it possible. And I think this is the highlight of the tournament”, added Chemjong.

Opening match

Hosts Mai Valley FC – which has hired the players from Morang, Rupandehi and Sunsari – will play against Kaski XI in the opening match.

Match Timing

The match will kick off at 3 PM.

Prize money

The champions will get Rs 6,66,666. Runners up team will get half of that money. MPV will get one bike. Man of the match will get Rs 10,000.
