Saru Limbu, the national player of Nepali women's football, has been honored by Pathari 11 Football Club in the home town.
Pathari 11 Football Club has honored Wichi Limbu in a formal program. Club president Suman Bik and secretary Keshar Rai honored the national player Limbu with a certificate of appreciation along with 25,000 cash.
In the honor program, Bhabuk Huday Limbu said that in the nine years of his football life, with the encouragement given by his hometown brothers and Kalva, he will work harder to bring Nepal a trophy in the coming days. In the last SAFF Championship, Nepal had the opportunity to win the trophy but was not able to succeed.
Midfielder Saru, who played an important role in bringing Nepal to the final in Women's SAFF Championship, has been honored by Pathri 11 Football Club with high evaluation and appreciation.
Limbu, a permanent resident of Patharishanishchare Nagar, is a midfielder of the Nepali women's team. Limbu was out of the field due to a knee injury for a long time. Limbu, who made a comeback in the Nepali team in the SAFF Championship, started playing football from the New Star Football Club in Pathari Shanishre 7.
