The 4th Mayor's Cup football tournament is going to be held from the 24th of Chaitra under the organization of City Sports Development Committee, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City.

All the wards of the city have been informed to register their teams till 15th of Chaitra for the participation in the competition to be held at Pipley Campa Stadium located in Hetauda-5.

The winner of the competition, which has the special support of Hetouda Sub-Metropolitan City, will receive 200,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 150,000. Similarly, the team that won the third place will also get 50,000 cash, said Ravindra Prasad Ghimire, chairman of the Municipal Sports Development Committee, Hetauda.

Similarly, the best player of the competition will receive 10,000 in cash, while the players in other categories will receive 5,000 each, President Ghimire informed.

The organizer also said that there is a plan to prepare a good city-level football team by identifying talented players by competing among the ward teams of Hetauda.
