3rd Sunrise Cup seven-a-side open knockout football tournament is going to be held from the 15th of Mangsir in the joint project of Sunrise Youth Club and Myanglung Municipality Ward No. 8.

In addition, the team registration fee is set at 5,000 and an additional 2,000 must be paid as a deposit, said club secretary Mahendra Limbu. Secretary Limbu also informed that only 16 teams will participate in the competition.

The winner of the competition will receive 130,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 63,000 and a trophy, medal and certificate. Similarly, the two teams who lost in the semi-finals will also be awarded with 15,000 cash each, according to the match coordinator Vishwaraj Limbu.

Sports coordinator Limbu said that appropriate prizes have also been arranged for the best players in the individual category of the competition. Apart from that, various entertainment programs will also be organized in the semi-finals and finals of the competition, said Uttam Limbu, the president of the host club.

President Mahendra Limbu informed that a badminton tournament will also be organized in the premises of the host club on the same occasion. A registration fee of Rs 1,000 has been fixed to participate in the badminton tournament. The winner will receive 15,000 and the runner-up will receive 7,000.
