New Danfe Youth Club and Regal Hetauda Resort Anfa Makwanpur have entered the quarter finals of Sudarshan Smriti U-21 Hetauda Challenge Cup.
In the first match of the day at Pipley Campa Stadium, New Danfe defeated Padampokhari Football Academy by 1 goal against Zero. Saroj Syangtan scored the only decisive goal for New Danfe. Sheikh Arasat, the goalkeeper of New Danfe, was declared the man of the match.
Similarly, in the second match, ANFA Makwanpur defeated Thaha Municipality by a wide margin of 5-1. Avinash Syangtan scored two goals for ANFA Makwanpur while Roshan Dong, Sujal Shrestha and Mohit Gurung scored one goal each. Binish Amatya returned only one goal to know the defeat.
Avinash Syangtan of ANFA Makwanpur was declared Man of the Match in the match.
The winner of the tournament organized by FC Mundial, Hetauda will receive a cash prize of Rs 1,11,111 along with the title, while the runner-up will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with Rs 55,555.
The final match of the tournament in which 14 teams are participating will be held on Mangsir 13.
