Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Chyasal Stadium, Lalitpur will host A Division League matches for the first time starting this season. Nepal Police Club and Church Boys United will take on each other on March 4 to kick off a series of top flight matches at the stadium.
ANFA have released the schedule for the first five rounds of the A Division League among which 12 matches will be played at Chyasal. There were talks of A Division matches to be played at the stadium last time out as well but the plan didn't come to life.
However, Pokhara Stadium hosted a few matches; the first time A Division League matches were held outside the valley.
The league is starting on March 3 with FC Khumaltar and Friends Club taking on each other on the opening day. The league will be held in a double round-robin format with 182 matches to be played across three stadiums; Dasharath Stadium, ANFA Complex and Chyasal Stadium.
