Pokhara (GoalNepal) - Sankata Club will take on defending champions APF Football Club in the first semifinal of the 22nd edition of the Aaha! Rara Pokhara Gold Cup today. The match will kick off at the Pokhara Stadium at 1:30 PM according to the hosts Sahara Club.
APF Football Club defeated Dharan FC 2-0 to qualify for the semifinals while Sankata Club defeated Tribhuwan Army FC 3-1 to enter the final four of the tournament. Sankata are playing with their six new signings for the first time in this tournament.
These two teams are the winners of the past two editions of the tournament. So, this game is shaping up to be a cracker.
The winners today will face either high-flying Church Boys United or Bhutanese Youth Sports Club, USA in the final.
The winners of this tournament edition will receive 12 lakh rupees while the runners-up will receive six lakh rupees.
