Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Tridev Gurung, the young midfielder of the Nepali national football team, has also left for Australia for a secure future after seeing no possibility in Nepali football, which is in tatters currently
Tridev, who hails from Pokhara, won the title of Three Nations Cup which was held at home two years ago which included Nepal, Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan. Tridev has shown his prowess in domestic football through Sahara Club and Himalayan Sherpa Football Club.
Tridev is not the only player to leave for Australia. He is just another added name in a long list of Nepali players there.
Earlier, the important members of the national football team Suman Aryal, Aashish Lama, Suman Lama, Rajan Gurung, Abhishek Rijal, Santosh Tamang also reached Australia only a few months ago. The number of players who have played in the A division have migrated abroad is increasing rapidly.
