Birat Mega Sports have come out victorious in yesterday's match of the Mustang Birat Mega Veterans football tournament.

Birat Mega Sports defeated Lahan Veterans by 4-3 in the tiebreaker and reached the second stage. The game reached the tiebreaker after a 2-2 draw in the scheduled time. Toyaram Bhujel scored two goals for Lahan while Krishna Shakya scored twice for the winners. Krishna was also named the player of the match.

The tournament is being organized by Birat Mega Sports Academy, Biratnagar at Sahid Maidan, Biratnagar under lights and broadcast live by GoalNepal.

CG Brewery are the main sponsors of the tournament while CG Foods will be co-sponsoring it.

The final will be played on September 3.
