News Captain Nawayug: Jordan Proved Their Superiority Before, It'll Be About Our Performances This Time

Nepal will take on Jordan on Wednesday evening in the first group match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers final round at the Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait. And newly appointed captain Nawayug Shrestha in absence of regular captain Kiran Chemjong accepts Jordan's superiority in the previous matches.

Jordan and Nepal were in the same group in the second round of qualifiers as well.

"In the second round of qualifiers, they proved to us that they were better than us", said Shrestha. "Tomorrow, we will do our best. It'll be about our performances and how we perform"

Nepal will take the field against Jordan in the after-hours in Nepal with the match set to kick-off at 1:00 AM on June 9 in the South Asian nation.
