Nepal will take on Jordan on Wednesday evening in the first group match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers final round at the Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Despite playing against a highly superior side in Jordan, Nepal head coach Abdullah Almutairi said that his side will now have much pressure going into the match in the pre-match press conference.

"As we were in Pot 4 in the draw, it will be much easier for us to play with no pressure", said the coach who hails from the place these matches are being played at. "But as a team, we want to do something and the best result for us tomorrow will be to get anything out of this match."

Almutairi also added that he and his team knew how Jordan are going to play after assessing their recent encounters against Australia and India.

"We watched their matches in Doha against Australia and Jordan. I think they are an open book for us, we know how they will play and what they will do", said Almutaiir. "If we can do something to stop them tomorrow and if we stop them tomorrow, it will be easier for us in matches against Kuwait and Indonesia".

This encounter will begin in the after-hours in Nepal at 1:00 AM on June 9 (10:15 PM, June 8 local time).
