The Nepal national team is moving to Kuwait today to participate in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. After 10 days' stay in Doha, Qatar, Nepal is going to Kuwait today.

During the Qatar stay, Nepal played three friendlies where two matches ended in draws and one ended in a loss. Nepal played a 2-2 draw against Timor-Leste and a 1-1 draw against Sri Lanka while losing 2-0 to Oman yesterday night.

Nepal is in Group A of the qualifiers alongside hosts Kuwait, Jordan and Indonesia. Nepal will square off against Jordan on June 8, Kuwait on June 11 and Indonesia on June 14.

Group winners and the best five runner-ups will qualify for the Asian Cup.
