High spending Khanal Brothers FC have entered semifinals of 6th Suryanagar gold cup football tournament.

Khanal Brothers FC - playing with some national team called up and A Division league players - defeated Abhisek Church, Rajahar 3-0 in quarterfinal match played at Suryanagar stadium on Friday.

Suvas Gurung scored a brace while Bishwas Shrestha scored another for the winners.

Two goal hero Gurung became the player of the match.

On Saturday, hosts Nawa Yuwa Club will play against Pharsatikar FC.

The champions of the event will get Nrs 5 lakh. Runners up team will get Nrs 3 lakh. Bardaghat municipality is the main supporter of the event.
