International AFC U-23 Championship Thailand 2020 QFs: Nepal Faces Another Defeat; Loses To Afghanistan

Nepal lost 2-0  to Afghanistan in its last group match of AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020 Qualifiers at Aspire 4, Doha Sports City on Tuesday.

This was an inconsequential match for Nepal as they had crashed out from the qualifiers after two successive defeats.

Nepal lost 1-0 to Oman in its first match and was beaten 5-0 by hosts Qatar in another match.

Nepal failed to earn a single point in the qualifiers.

Qatar played 2-2 draw with Oman to book ticket to AFC U-23 Championship Thailand 2020 on the basis of better goal difference.
