Skipper Rupesh KC struck a tight angle goal in wee hours as Three Star Club defeated Friends Club 1-0 to enter semifinals of 3rd Chandragiri gold cup football tournament.

When the match was heading towards a spot kick battle, KC scored the match winner in 90+1.

Friends club fielded newly recruited three Brazilian players but they couldn't help the team to win the match.

Chyasal youth club will play against Nepal Police club in another quarterfinal match on Saturday.

Deep Sikha yuwa samuha is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 6,50,000.
