Rara Football Club, Rajarani, Dhankuta has entered the finals of the ongoing 11th Gorkha Rara Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament.

In the first semi-final held on Monday, Rara defeated Dangihat Youth Club, Morang 2-1 to reach the title of the 11th edition of the tournament.

Shishir Lekhi and Tayo scored for Rara in the match at Rajarani Stadium. Sanjay Shrestha scored for the defeated Dangihat.

Rara's Chiring Gurung was declared the man of the match. He received 7,000 cash and a trophy as an award.

Under the competition, the second semi-final match on Tuesday 15th Jestha will be played between Salhesh Yuva Club, Siraha and Birtamod United Club, Jhapa, the organizers informed.
