
Udaypur - Malitham Football Club have entered the final of the third Udaypurgarhi Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament. Malitham beat Katari FC 1-0 in the first semi-final held at Bhakunde Chaur on Saturday and came close to the title.
Sadam Sansur of Malitham was declared the man of the match. He was presented with a trophy sponsored by Malpi International College, Kathmandu along with Rs. 2,000 in cash. According to the organizers, the second semi-final of the tournament will be played between Gaighat FC and Golbazar Pratibha Club on Sunday.
The winners of the competition organized by Adarsh Youth Club, Nepaltar, Udaypur will receive Rs. 1,20,000 cash along with the title, while the runners-up will receiveRs. 60,000.
The final of the tournament in which a total of eight teams are participating will be held on the 7th of Kartik.
