New entrant in Nepal Super League, Jhapa FC said they were excited to compete in mega event.

Jhapa FC won the bid held in Lalitpur on Sunday.

"We are excited to compete in Nepal Super League", said Jhapa FC president Arpan Bikram Khadka.

"We would like to thank NSEM for this opportunity and we will try our best to make this club the best", added Khadka.

VP and spokesperson of the club, Mr. Sujan Gautam said he was delighted for the opportunity.

"This is huge for us and for Jhapali fans. We believe we can unite them all through this beautiful game and help Nepalese football grow", said Gautam.

Two other members in the board, Mr. Mandeep Bhattarai and Yam Basnet thanked NSEM and appealed all Jhapali fans to come together in one roof.

"Jhapa FC is now the home of all Jhapali fans. We want to sail together in the journey", said Bhattarai and Basnet in unison.
NSEM, company owned by Chaudhary group, is planning to start 2nd edition of the league from April 9. The final confirmation on the league date will be confirmed later.
