Birtamod United FC won the third Adarsh Challenge Cup title. In the tournament organized by Adarsh Yuva Club, Birtamod United won the title by defeating India's Manevnjang FC by 3-0.

The winner Birtamod received a cash prize of 2 lakh rupees along with the title. Manebhanjyang settled for 1 lakh rupees. Manevnjang, who lost two important players in the previous game, was unable to perform as expected and was deprived of winning the title.

In the 7th minute of the game, Birtamod's defender Debendra Tamang's header was rebounded by the goalkeeper of Manevnjang. The ball was scored by Birtamod's other defender Bishal Darji through his head. In the 24th minute of the game, Birtamod doubled the lead. Abhishek Gurung's cross pass was scored by captain Ashish Chapagai. Similarly, in the injury time, Chapagai secured the team's victory by scoring a goal in a one-to-one situation with the opposing goal keeper.

In the injury time of the first half, Manevanjang's Saurabh Tamang's hard shot from 20 yards was brilliantly saved by Birtamode's goalkeeper Sandeep Limbu. In the 45th minute of the game, Karan Rai, the striker of Manevanjang, could not make use of the ball he got in the D box. In the 54th minute, Saurabh Tamang hit the free kick by Suraj Rasaili on the post, but the goalkeeper became an obstacle.

Bishal Darji of Birtamod United was declared the player of the match. He received a cash prize of three thousand rupees.

Pujan Thapa of organizer Adarsh Yuva Club, best striker Ashish Chapagain of Birtamod, best defender Biren Pradhan of Manevnjyang, best midfielder Yogesh Gurung of Birtamod, best goalkeeper Sandeep Limbu of Birtamod, best player of the tournament Debendra Tamang of Bitamod, best coach Ramesh Gurung of Birtamod were the emerging players of the tournament. They got a cash prize of 5000 rupees each.

Eight teams including two from India participated in the competition.
