
Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has fined USD 7000 to ANFA for violating articles of AFC statutes.
As per AFC, ANFA was fined USD 6000 on Monday for unathorised person entered the team dressing room before the match and entered the field of play after the match with an Accreditation Card which was not validly issued to him.
AFC also fined USD 1000 to ANFA because coach Abdullal Almutairi delayed the first half against Indonesia.
Here is the details:
1. All Nepal Football Association is ordered to pay a fine of USD6,000/- for violating Article 21.1 of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 Competition Regulations.
2. In accordance with Articles 34.1 and 34.3 of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Code, USD4,500/- of the amount referred to in Paragraph 1 of this Decision is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years. Should another violation of a similar nature occur within the probationary period, the suspension is automatically revoked, and the sanction applied; it is added to the sanction pronounced for the new infringement.
3. The unsuspended portion of the fine referred to in Paragraph 1 of this Decision (i.e. USD1,500/-) shall be settled within 90 days from the date that this decision is communicated in accordance with Article 11.3 of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Code.
4. All Nepal Football Association is informed that a repeat violation of this provision may be met with more severe punishment.
One (1) unathorised person affiliated to the Defendant entered the team dressing room before the match and entered the field of play after the match with an Accreditation Card which was not validly issued to him.
1. All Nepal Football Association is ordered to pay a fine of USD1,000/- for violating Article 3.2 of the AFC Competition Operations Manual.
2. In accordance with Articles 34.1 and 34.3 of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Code, USD750/- of the amount referred to in Paragraph 1 of this Decision is suspended for a probationary period of two (2) years. Should another violation of a similar nature occur within the probationary period, the suspension is automatically revoked, and the sanction applied; it is added to the sanction pronounced for the new infringement.
3. The unsuspended portion of the fine referred to in Paragraph 1 of this Decision (i.e. USD250/-) shall be settled within 90 days from the date that this decision is communicated in accordance with Article 11.3 of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Code.
4. All Nepal Football Association is informed that a repeat violation of this provision may be met with more severe punishment.
