Province 1 Dhankuta: APF FC Enters Final Of 16th Bhim Narayan Gold Cup

APF Football Club, Kathmandu has entered the finals of the ongoing 16th Bhimnarayan Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament.

In the first semi-final on Thursday, APF came close to winning the title by defeating Rastriya Jagriti Club, Itahari in a tiebreaker. Before that, both the teams played a goalless draw in the scheduled time match at Tundikhel ground.

In the tiebreaker, APF secured a 3-2 win over Rashtriya Jagriti and qualified for the finals. APF's goalkeeper Angel Shrestha was declared man of the match. He received 5,000 cash and a trophy as an award.

Under the competition, the second semi-final match on Friday 28th Baisakh will be played between Birtamod United Club, Jhapa and the host Bhimnarayan Memorial Foundation, Dhankuta, the organizers informed.

The winner of the competition organized by Shahid Bhimnarayan Memorial Foundation, Dhankuta will receive a cash prize of Rs 500,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 250,000. The final match will be held on the 29th of Baisakh.
