In a heartwarming display of solidarity, the players, coaching, and administrative staff of the Tajikistan national football team paid a visit to Kulyab Ravshan midfielder Jamshed Maksumov, who is currently recovering from a serious traffic accident. The visit took place at the Shifobahsh National Medical Center in Dushanbe, where Maksumov is receiving treatment.
The national team expressed their well wishes for Maksumov’s speedy recovery and offered their full support during this difficult time. The team’s gesture was an emotional reminder of the close-knit bond within the Tajik football community, with several players personally conveying their hopes for the midfielder’s quick return to the pitch.
Maksumov, clearly touched by the visit, thanked his national team colleagues and coaching staff for their support. He also extended his best wishes to the national team ahead of their upcoming international fixtures, which include friendly matches against Nepal on November 13 and Afghanistan on November 19, both of which will be held in Dushanbe.
"I am very grateful for the support from my teammates and the national team staff," Maksumov said. "I wish the team all the best in the upcoming games and look forward to seeing them succeed on the field."
The 28-year-old midfielder, known for his strong performances with Ravshan, remains focused on his recovery and hopes to return to competitive football in the near future.
The Tajikistan national team will certainly miss his presence on the pitch, but they are all rooting for his full recovery and eventual return to the game.
