News Abu Khairahani RM Enters SFs Of Central College First Bharatpur Championship

Anbu Khairahani Rural Municipality Central College has entered the semi-finals of the first Bharatpur Football Championship by winning easily against Rampur FC Rods.

In the third quarter-final match completed today (Friday), Abu Khairhani defeated Rampur Rods by 3-1. Captain Santa Gurung scored two goals and Abayami scored one goal in the victory of Abu Khairahani. Rods captain Anil Rana Magar scored a goal.

In the fourth minute of the game, Abu Khairhani took the lead by scoring a goal. Shant scored from Jitesh Gurung's pass and gave Abukhairhani the lead. Rods equalized in the first half. Captain Anil scored for him in extra time of the first half.

Abu Khairhani added two goals in the second half. In the 4th minute of the second half, Abayami scored and gave Abukhairhani a 2-1 lead. In the 15th minute of the second half, after Shant scored his second personal goal, Abu Khairahani won 3-1. Santa was the man of the match.

The last quarter-final match will be held on Saturday in the tournament organized by Chitwan 11 Football Club. Armed Police Force (APF) Bhandara and Gandakot FC will meet in the fourth and last quarter final. The game will be played at 3 pm.

The winner of the competition, which will run until 10th of Chaitra will receive Rs.3 lakh 3 thousand and the runner-up will get Rs. The competition has been organized on the occasion of Bharatpur visit year 2024.
