Chakraghatti Football Club, Barahkshetra has won the title of 22nd Rajabas Challenge Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament. In the final, Chakraghatti became the champion after defeating Talatalaia Football Club, Itahari in a tie breaker.

Before that, both the teams played a 2-2 draw in the exciting match at the Saraswati Mavi Stadium. Roshan Bhujel and Bhuvan Basnet scored goals for Chakraghatti while Pujan Chaudhary scored both goals for Talatalaiya.

In the tiebreaker, Chakraghatti managed to capture the title by winning 4-2 over Talatalaiya. Chakraghatti, who became the winner, received 51,000 in cash along with the title, while Talatalaiya, the runner-up, got 31,000 with a trophy, medal and certificate.

Pujan Chaudhary of Chakraghatti was declared the man of the match in the final match in the individual category. He handed over 1500 in cash for that. Asif Rai of Chakraghatti was chosen as the best goalkeeper. Chakraghatti's Manish Kshetri was also declared the best defender and Chakraghatti's Dhiren Limbu as the best midfielder.

Sijal Rai of Talatalaiya was selected as the best forward and Dinesh Rai of Chakraghatti was declared as the best coach. All those who excelled in the individual category received 2,500 people and a trophy. Abhishek Darnal of Rajabas was declared the emerging player. For that, he received cash 3100 and a trophy.

Bhuvan Basnet of Chakraghatti, Pujan Chaudhary of Taltalaiya and Joseon Rai of Sankalp Club, who scored 2-2 goals throughout the tournament, jointly won the top scorer award. 3,000 prize money was won by three players at the rate of 1,000 each.

Similarly, Roshan Bhujel from Chakraghatti was declared the best player of the tournament. For that, he received cash 3100 and a trophy. The winning players were awarded by Kapil Acharya, coordinator of Barahkshetra Nagar Sports Development Committee and others.

A total of 12 teams participated in the competition which started from 13th of Kartik organized by Rajabas Youth Club, Barah Kshetra-9, Rajabas, Sunsari.
