2nd Madi Gold Cup Kicks Off; Lekhnath United Enters SFs

2nd Madi gold cup football tournament got underway at Madi, Chitwan on Saturday.

Lekhnath United, Kaski defeated Hanami Everest FC 2-0 to enter semifinals. Rupak Lama (28') and Amit Tamang (70+5') scored apiece for the winners.

Amit Tamang became the man of the match and received Nrs 3,000 cash.

Madi XI will play against Birgunj Youth Academy in second quarterfinal match on Sunday. Basantapur United club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 1 lakh.
