Nepal coach Bal Gopal Maharjan said his focus is on good performance against Bangladesh.
Upon landing in Dhaka, coach Maharjan spoke to Bangladeshi media briefly.
“Focus will be on good performance and good results but I am not talking about wins or losses,” said Maharjan to local media.
“We are going to give our best because we have come here for friendlies, and it is also a matter of the FIFA ranking.”
The matches are scheduled for November 13 and 17, which will be Nepal’s first since last November in the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
Nepal currently sit fourth in Group B of the Asian Qualifiers with three points, while Bangladesh are bottom of Group E with one point.
This will be the first international meeting between the two since 2018, when Nepal edged Bangladesh 2-0 in the SAFF Championship.
