News Machhindra Beats Saraswoti To Keep Their Dream Alive For First League Title !

Machhindra club defeated Saraswoti youth club 6-1 on Thursday to keep their dream alive for first ever Martyr's memorial A division league title.

Machhindra club have never won the league title.

Deepak Rai scored a brace (54', 77') while Devendra Tamang (39'), Bishal Rai A (59'), Somide Adeleja (90+3) and Andreas Nia (90+4) scored apiece for White Lions to beat a lowly side.

After losing 10th match in the campaign, Saraswoti youth are now close to relegation.

With the win, they have moved top with 25 points. Second place Nepal Army have 23 points and is playing against Nepal APF at 3 PM today.

ANFA is running the league with 14 Kathmandu based teams. The champions will get Nrs 50 lakh.
